Hey Sew Sister - Soft Spring Babycord Collection - Mint Choc Chip
Babycord (also known as needlecord) is a lovely and luxurious fabric, the little sister of chunkier corduroys. The cords are very fine, narrow and tightly packed in, which gives the fabric its almost velvet-like texture. This 100% cotton fabric is lightweight with a nice soft handle but is still robust and hardwearing. It is perfect for transitional dresses such as Tilly and the Buttons Lyra or Fabric Godmother Aspen. It would also be ideal for shorts and trousers. I have chosen four beautiful soft shades for Spring 2025 that would also be great any time of year.
