Ticking Stripes - Cotton Canvas - Denim
Cotton Ticking Stripe Fabric originates from the 18th century where it was used as a sturdy fabric for covering mattresses and pillows. These days it can be admired for its classic yarn-dyed stripe and can be used for a variety of projects including clothing. I used it to make a Friday Pattern Company Bernadette Skirt which gets a lot of wear all year round (I’ve included a couple of photos here)!
