TENCEL™ lyocell jersey is a brilliant choice of knit fabric if you are looking for an option which not only has greater softness, smoothness and fluidity when considering how you want a garment to feel but also has some good eco-credentials. Lyocell is made with wood pulp which is dissolved, formed into fibre strands and spun into yarn which can then be woven or knitted to make fabric. TENCEL™ branded lyocell uses responsibly-sourced wood pulp, requires less energy and water to produce than conventional cotton and also requires less dye than cotton.
