Lightweight and versatile Ajrakh block printed fabric for your beautiful, airy, summer makes. This fabric is easy to handle and sew plus comfortable to wear. It features a simple but pretty repeating rose design in rich colours.
Hand block printed using traditional Ajrakh block carved print and resist-dye methods, natural dyes (such as indigo and pomegranate) and natural fibre fabric. The Ajrakh textile tradition is rooted in the Gujarat and Rajasthan regions of India and in the Sindh region of Pakistan though ours was produced by a family-run business in Chennai. Expect irregularities and imperfections - it’s all part of the charm and character of the fabric. Printed by human and not by machine.
CARE: Because this fabric has been produced using very natural methods, to preserve the light fabric and intricately printed designs, please hand wash in cool/lukewarm water using a non-bio detergent if possible.
