Fluid + Drape - Heatwaves - Smores - Block Printed Organic Cotton
I am excited to be able to share some of my friend Bethany’s (Fluid + Drape) exclusive prints with you. Bethany is based in Oregon and since we are doing a fun little design swap, we are the only UK shop to have our hands on these!
Say hello to Heatwaves, made for bold makers and colour lovers, this collection is breezy, joyful, and full of that effortless cool—the kind that turns heads without trying. Whether you’re sewing up a breezy caftan or a dramatic two-piece set, this print plays well with everything. Every inch of this fabric is hand block printed, which means no two yards are exactly alike. Embrace the beauty of small irregularities—they’re part of the magic.
Printed on ultra lightweight organic cotton - this fabric has an airy quality and is best for warm summer days. Unusually for an Indian fabric, this one is a wider width at approximately 148cm wide! :)
This wavy print runs from selvage to selvage (horizontally).
Sold by the half metre.
100% Cotton.

Care / Expectations:
This hand block printed fabric may arrive with slight printing irregularities and a mild earthy scent—both are normal and part of its handmade charm.
• Wash cold with like colors
• Add a handful of salt to first wash to reduce fading
• Optional: white vinegar in the first wash helps remove scent
• Delicate cycle, lay flat or hang to dry (tumble dry will make it fade more)Some color bleeding may occur—always wash with similar tones.
