Fabric Godmother - Gertie - Viscose & Linen

Gertie is a gorgeous floral design which has both a retro and modern feel to it. An ivory, warm coloured background with warm and cheery pink, red, yellow and green print. The viscose content gives this fabric a relaxed feel with beautiful drape and the linen ensures some structure to it with some subtle slubs, making this fabric lovely to handle and sew. Ideal for voluminous sleeves and skirts. The Vali dress by Pattern Fantastique would look amazing in this fabric, as would the Anna Allen Anthea Blouse.

Machine washable at 30 degrees, cool iron, hang out to dry straight after washing, please note when you wash viscose it can become stiff when wet but the softness and drape will return as it dries.
